Mark Ramirez further showcased leadership in the market through a building tour, exploring the emerging trend of mass timber construction and encouraging scholars to explore innovative solutions in response to industry challenges. These sessions collectively emphasized the importance of adaptability, innovation, and collaboration in navigating the dynamic landscape of the AEC industry.
The session concluded a tour of 80 M Street, one of the first commercial application of mass timber construction in DC and learn about the challenges and opportunities the design team faced diving into a construction typology that was new to the firm and DC region.
